Checkpoint Charlie’s State of Affairs is an original cabaret that tells the glorious Marxist story of revolution through the hallowed medium of burlesque!

Created by Charlotte Thun-Hohenstein, Checkpoint Charlie premiered at ANT Fest at ArsNova on June the 10th.

It is 1957.

Checkpoint Charlie is a Russian service agent sent by Khrushchev with the mission to spread the triumphant story of Marxist revolution across America, and at last she has arrived in New York.

With her troupe of singers, dancers, burlesque performers and aerialists, she will illustrate the history of revolution from the Neolithic, through the French, Scientific, Industrial and Russian Revolutions and beyond!
