Sessions Vol. XVIII: “A Viola by any other Name”
Amanda + James presents “virtuosic” (Seen and Heard Int’l) violist Dan McCarthy, who curates an evening of music from the Italian Baroque on historical instruments. Joining him are expert historical performance players Arnie Tanimoto (viola da gamba) and Dongsok Shin (harpsichord), for a night of trios by Italian Baroque masters Domenico Gabrielli and Attilio Ariosti.
The concert takes place in the acoustical warmth of Coffey Street Studio; especially attuned to Strings, the Studio will be a ideal setting for this intimate winter concert.
