Michael Parmelee (b. 1989, Michigan) is a dance artist living in Brooklyn, NY. He has performed with Amanda + James in their original production LAZER EYES (2019), with Ismael Houston-Jones, Chris Cochrane, and Dennis Cooper in the 2018 revival of THEM (1986) at Performance Space New York, and with Richard Alston in BRISK SINGING (1997) at The Place in London. His live work has been presented at DanceSpace Project, JACK, Dixon Place, and WestFest Dance Festival; his virtual work in Eschaton (2020) and in split-bill with Amanda + James. He received an MFA, Dance Choreography from the University of Michigan.
