Jacquelyn Stucker

Dr. Jacquelyn Stucker Drye maintains an active performing career primarily in Europe with recent debuts in principal roles at Glyndebourne, The Royal Opera House, Bayerische Staatsoper, and Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she was a member of the Fest Ensemble. Hailed by The Boston Globe as “glowing,” “incandescent,” and “a singing actress to be reckoned with,” Jacquelyn’s repertoire as a performer is versatile, ranging from Handel to Higdon to Henze. She was a Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Artist for two consecutive seasons and returned the following season as a principal artist in David Alden’s production of Alcina. She was a Jette Parker Young Artist at The Royal Opera House, where she worked with conductors Laurence Cummings, Jakub Hrusa, and Antonio Pappano, as well with directors David Alden, Stefan Herheim, and Barrie Kosky.

Jacquelyn earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts from New England Conservatory, her Master of Music in Vocal Arts from Bard College’s Vocal Arts Program, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Furman University. She is currently an EMBA candidate at Suffolk University. She holds professional certifications from The Goethe Institute in German, and her first commercial publication – Alban Berg’s Wozzeck: A Translation and Phonetic Guide for Musicians – was released by Pendragon Press in 2020, and recently joined Advisory Board for the Arts as ABA’s first Member Advisor.
