Alexander Sargent
Born in Reston, Virginia, Alexander Sargent is a multidisciplinary artist and Juilliard Dance alumni. He originally trained under Kee Juan Han at The Washington Ballet, and later graduated from The HARID Conservatory.
Since his move to NYC in 2016, he has performed works by Martha Graham, Peter Chu, and Twyla Tharp, with his most recent stage appearance being at The David H. Koch Theatre performing the principle role in Donald McKayle’s Crossing the Rubicon. In addition to his performing career, he has worked as a digital media producer for performing artists and arts organizations since 2018.
As an artist he continuously integrates his aptitude in acting, digital media, music composition, and movement to create work that centers on message instead of medium. He ultimately seeks to enable audiences and artists alike to self-actualize their inner-narrative through exploration, honesty, and inclusiveness; working from the core belief that the arts are a keystone of a holistic human experience.
