Glenn Potter-Takata and evan ray suzuki
Glenn Potter-Takata and evan ray suzuki are New York City-based artists that met while studying at Sarah Lawrence College and have been collaborating since 2018. Their work has been shown at Cannonball Festival in Philadelphia and in the NYC area at PAGEANT, Center for Performance Research, and New Dance Alliance’s Performance Mix, among other places. They are proud to be three-time performers at the Amanda+James Summer Happenings Festival. Glenn is the recipient of the MAP Fund Award and has been an artist-in-residence with Movement Research, Gibney Dance Center, Rogers Art Loft, and CUNY Dance Initiative at Lehman College. He is currently a teacher of sound and projection design for live performance at Sarah Lawrence College. evan’s work has received support from NYSCA, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Ars Nova, New Dance Alliance, JACK, and the Centro Umbro di Residenze Artistiche in Umbria, Italy. His previous time as a musician found him performing guitar and banjo around the Pacific Northwest with his former band Swiss Army Knife, including a fateful five hour performance in a woodshed in 2015.
