Jace Weyant
Jace Weyant is a multidisciplinary artist from North Carolina. She was accepted into the high school dance program at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a freshman and studied ballet and contemporary dance. Jace was selected as a 2018 Youngarts Finalist in choreography and went on to become a Presidential Scholar in the Arts that same year. Jace is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at Sarah Lawrence College where she studies Dance and Computer Science among other things. In recent years she has accepted a research residency with Impulstanz in Vienna, Austria, worked as a dancer and collaborator for Amanda Hameline, and as a software designer for Liminal Collective. In 2021, Jace founded an arts collective, Ames Productions, through which she has produced her first feature film, The Ames House.
